Gas prices soar. Blood pressures rise. And, DeKalb Medical steps in. One of metro Atlanta's leading hospitals says "tank you” to its prospective new employees, by offering free gas to nurses and allied health professionals who are hired during the month of June.
"We are offering free gas to our new team members as a way of expressing our ‘tanks,' and rewarding them for considering a DeKalb Medical career,” said DeKalb Medical Employment Manager Sue Dunlap.
In addition, Dunlap says new Emergency Department and Inpatient Oncology nurses will receive a $10,000 signing bonus and are eligible for up to $15,000 relocation assistance. Other new nurses are eligible for up to $10,000 relocation assistance.
In addition, new hires are eligible for attractive salaries and benefits, including tuition reimbursement, on-site childcare, a generous relocation package, domestic partner and adoption benefits, and more.
To be eligible for the free gas offer, applicants must have at least one year of experience in their field. To be considered for career opportunities (and the free gas offer), please e-mail your name, specialty, contact info, and resume to DMRN@dekalbmedical.org. Questions? Please call 404-501-5010.
