Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Presents A One-Man Show: "Franklin"

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is proud to host Marty Barrett's one-man theatrical portrayal of Benjamin Franklin. FRANKLIN is a fascinating play, perfect for history buffs and theatre fans. Experience the humor, power, and inspiration of the ultimate American mind live on stage!

FRANKLIN tells the true story of Benjamin Franklin's life and times starting as a young man. Audiences will meet Franklin and a host of his famous literary characters and friends - all played by writer and director Marty Barrett. Barrett did extensive research while creating this play to ensure accuracy and the full breadth of Franklin's humor, politics, inventions, and style. The production will last 90 minutes.

About Marty Barrett:
Marty Barrett has worked as an actor, writer, and director in Atlanta for 30 years, including 20 years at Young Audiences at the Woodruff Art Center. Now a pastor of New Covenant Community Church, Barrett teaches acting classes at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.
