A veteran Indiana author, James Hall, tells the story of what he describes as "an amazing, supernatural encounter" he had decades ago with Jesus Christ in his new book, My Close Encounter With Jesus Christ.
Hall is an multi-award-winning former daily newspaper reporter and editor who is now a freelance magazine contributor and book author. Hall also has a seminary degree (B.A.) in Christian pastoral counseling.
In his new book, Hall tells the story of when he says that Jesus Christ literally entered a room with him more than 30 years ago. At the time, Hall was a college student at home visiting his parents. This event, Hall writes, changed his life dramatically and has played a significant role in his life for the past three decades-plus.
Hall has researched similar accounts of Christ literally appearing to individuals throughout recorded history. Included in his book is the story of a similar event documented by John Michael Talbot, one of the most popular and successful songwriters and musicians in the history of contemporary Christian music.
"Jim Hall..... is filled with heart-warming insights that touch many people and I am delighted that he has put his story into book form," says Talbot.
Hall's book also calls for a return to the basic centrality of Jesus Christ in contemporary Christian expressions and he discusses the need for Christians to return to a focus on the foundational truths of the Bible in their personal lives and church involvements.
The book is published by Booklocker.com Inc., and can be purchased by going to Hall's website,
