DECATUR- DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer Vernon Jones will be honored by the Mainstreet Community Services Association, Inc., on Saturday, April 19, 2008. The gala will be held from 7 – 11 p.m., at the Mainstreet Community Clubhouse, 5001 Mainstreet Park Drive in Stone Mountain, GA.

During the ceremony, CEO Vernon Jones, State Representative Michele Henson, Police Chief Terrell Bolton and other guests will be recognized and given an appreciation award for their contributions to the DeKalb County community. The awards specifically highlight how the Mainstreet Community has benefited from various public safety initiatives.
