WHAT: On Monday, June 4, Hands On Atlanta is hosting an information and interview session for individuals interesting in joining its school-based AmeriCorps program. Individuals will be able to fill out an AmeriCorps application and interview at the event.
As an AmeriCorps member, individuals spend 10 months working in Atlanta area schools as tutors, mentors, classroom assistants and after-school program leaders. In addition to impacting the lives of children and gaining new skills, members will receive a living stipend, health insurance and an educational award.
