Earlier this week we learned of the passing of Sara González, the current President and CEO of The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The DeKalb Chamber had worked with Ms. González in the past through our educational forums and common goals of serving the business community. From time to time, she was a guest speaker at our events. Mrs. Gonzalez was a committed advocate and pioneer and did much to enforce the economic development, empowerment and influence of the business community.

The Board of Directors, staff and members of The DeKalb Chamber wish to extend our support and sincere condolences to her family, friends and staff members.
