DECATUR- The DeKalb County Sanitation Department announces its collection schedule for Independence Day, which will be observed Friday, July 4. There will be no collection service on Friday, July 4.

Monday, June 30, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 collection service will remain the same. Thursday, July 3, 2008 garbage and yard waste collection will be scheduled for pick-up on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Friday, July 4, 2008 garbage and yard waste will be collected Thursday, July 3, 2008.

Regular schedule pick-up will resume on Monday, July 7, 2008.
