DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer Vernon Jones will honor Coach James Hartry and the Tucker Tigers Basketball Team at the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, for their victory over the Columbia Eagles.

The Tigers upset the Eagles 56-51 and clenched the Class AAAA Georgia State High School Association basketball championship title on Friday, March 9, 2007.

CEO Jones will present the DeKalb County team with a proclamation.
