In May 2006, the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) held its second annual golf tournament at Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club. With over 120 golfers present, the event was a huge success as various business owners and representatives from large corporations to small, local enterprises were able to network with key business representatives, elected officials, and community leaders.

Despite the overwhelming attendance, the event would not have been a success without its sponsors, hence the reason for this letter. As we plan our 2007 tournament currently scheduled for Monday, April 30, 2007 at Smoke Rise, your help and support is needed if we are to have another stellar event. This event serves as one of the Chamber's major fundraisers which allow us to serve DeKalb County businesses through advocacy, education, and business development initiatives.
