Serious Pool Players in Atlanta Play at Mr. Cue’s II
Known as the place “Where Real Players Play,” Mr. Cue’s II challenges league players with ongoing tournaments and organized events designed to test their skill against other top-notch players. Beginner pool players are also welcome to shoot some pool or just hang out with friends, enjoy the full menu and bar, and take part in the other activities Mr. Cue’s offers, such as darts, an arcade, and foosball.
With over 15,000 square feet of space accommodating 650 people at a time and 39 tables, including a Snooker Table, Mr. Cue’s is the perfect place for tournaments. Mr. Cue’s hosts several tournaments throughout the year sponsored by organizations such as the American Poolplayers Association (APA), and billiards businesses, such as Viking, the pool cue maker. The APA has a total of 89 different teams playing in tournaments held at Mr. Cue’s every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each Monday and Friday, the APA holds a nine ball tournament and on Wednesday they play one-pocket, a much more difficult game.
Mr. Cue’s II will be hosting many tournaments this year and is honored to be chosen as a host for the Seminal Pro 9-ball touring tournament from Florida April 4th through 6th and in September, Mr. Cue’s will host both the Viking 9-ball tournament and the Pechauer tournament. The Ladies Amateur 9-ball Classic, with 43 members, will also play a tournament at Mr. Cue’s.
Mr. Cue’s is currently renovating their new location in Marietta at 3354 Campton Highway. This brand new location boasts 10,000 square feet and 22 tables. With the feel of an authentic pool room, this new location is not a sports bar, but rather an original pool room designed for top pool players to compete and fashioned after the original location’s goal of being THE place to play professional pool.
